International Group Accountant (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on and reliable Accountant to take responsibility for accounting activities across multiple companies within the group. This role has an international dimension, coordinating accounting across different countries and jurisdictions, including Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day accounting for several legal entities in the group.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and expense claims.
• Process invoices, payments and other financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general‑ledger records.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and support cash‑flow planning.
• Coordinate financial information across countries and work with international stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly closings, financial reports and management information.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Handle Swiss VAT accounting, reporting and compliance with local tax rules.
• Help transition accounting from external providers, establish scalable processes and improve automation.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss accounting practices and VAT.
• Experience working across multiple companies or legal entities.
• Proficiency in a broad range of accounting activities (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, closing).
• Strong attention to detail, structured way of working and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.
• Confidence collaborating with international stakeholders and external service providers.
• Fluent in German and English.
