Internship in Mobility Consulting - Swiss & International Tax

About the role

EY is offering a 6-month internship within its Mobility team in Basel, Switzerland. Mobility consultants help clients manage the compliance, reporting and risks linked to a globally mobile workforce. The internship combines Swiss tax return preparation with day-to-day tax and mobility support for employees of international companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Swiss tax returns and provide day-to-day tax and mobility support for employees of international companies
• Contribute to special advisory projects such as business travel, equity-based compensation advice and mobility technology, with a practical, business-driven approach
• Support client projects with tasks such as holding tax briefings, research, liaison with authorities and communication with global EY member firms
• Work closely with clients on a day-to-day basis

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or the first two years of a bachelor's degree (law, business administration, economics, business informatics or information technology)
• Strong command of English and German; other languages are beneficial
• Strong organisational skills and flexibility to meet client and department needs and deadlines
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality and accuracy, teamwork and quick learning
