Investment Director – Relocation to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. The role combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor and offers the opportunity to shape our diversified portfolio across alternative strategies and direct investments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence, sourcing, screening and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities.
• Maintain regular contact with managers to assess strategy evolution and organizational stability.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers and ensure timely updates.
• Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policy and geopolitical developments to inform portfolio positioning.
• Develop scenario analyses and periodic briefs for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research and written communication abilities.
• Proven project coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.

Required skills

• Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• R and SQL programming (preferred).
