Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process for a Dubai‑based firm with a global, diversified portfolio. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with rigorous operational execution to enhance portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence efforts: source, screen, and evaluate investment opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Analyze performance, risk metrics, and team capabilities; maintain ongoing dialogue with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and deliver timely updates.
• Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy, and geopolitical developments to assess market implications.
• Develop scenario analyses and periodic briefs to inform portfolio positioning.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication, and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming knowledge (R, SQL) is a plus.
