IT Business Process Engineer (AMOS)

About the role

AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG is looking for an IT Business Process Engineer (AMOS) to join its IT Business Processes team in the AMAC IT department. The role drives internal AMOS integration projects that extend the use of the AMOS ERP across the company and streamlines business processes, while delivering technical support for AMOS and related satellite technologies to business users mainly in AMAC Switzerland, AMAC Turkey and JCB Aero. It is based in hangar facilities at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure the AMOS ERP system, including satellite devices and solutions, for daily operation
• Identify and coordinate process adjustments, specify user requirements and lead or assist AMOS-related integration projects
• Provide training and documentation for AMOS processes and support end users from the business
• Analyze incidents, diagnose root causes and solve them or escalate them to software or system engineers
• Maintain project tasks, support cases and changes in the IT service management tool
• Keep AMOS basic data up to date, perform daily client checks and configure hardware settings such as label printers, scanners and badge readers
• Help end users follow local working standards through training, processes and guidance

Required profile

• Fluent English (required); French and/or German beneficial
• 3+ years of experience as an AMOS administrator or key user
• Profound knowledge of Part 145 MRO processes; Part 21G / Part 21J experience is a plus
• Independent, proactive and team-oriented, with strong organization and communication skills
• Experience in user training and documentation

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office
• SQL / ETL / Business Intelligence skills are a plus
