IT Security Engineer – 80% to 100% FTE

About the role

Lombard Odier is seeking an IT Security Engineer to design, implement and manage security solutions that protect its global wealth‑management infrastructure. The role involves threat detection, vulnerability analysis, and the delivery of security controls across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security solutions such as DLP, vulnerability management, PKI, secrets management, privileged access management and endpoint protection.
• Participate in security projects, harden enterprise solutions and contribute to incident‑response reviews.
• Develop and automate security workflows, ensuring comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures and incident reports.
• Educate staff on security best practices and promote secure coding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, security engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Strong interest in IT security, continuous learning and threat modeling.
• Highly analytical, solution‑oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud services.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) principles.
• Understanding of common software architecture patterns, networking protocols and security hardening techniques.
• Familiarity with public key infrastructure, secrets management, privileged access management and endpoint security.
