Journey Head, Hire & Move (Vice President)

About the role

The Global Journey Head, Hire & Move is a senior leader within Novartis People & Organization Products & Experience (HR) organization, responsible for the end‑to‑end employee and manager journeys across talent attraction, acquisition, onboarding, internal and global mobility, executive scouting and external workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for the Hire & Move product grouping, ensuring a coherent portfolio that delivers intended journey outcomes.
• Lead Product Owners, define multi‑year journey strategy, and align roadmaps with company strategy and workforce priorities.
• Maintain deep user insight, sponsor human‑centered discovery, and define measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with strategy & innovations to drive automation, AI and technology simplification across the portfolio.
• Own KPI and value‑realization framework, manage portfolio financials, and ensure regulatory and data‑privacy controls.

Required profile

• Extensive senior HR leadership experience in a complex, global organization with product or technology‑enabled transformation.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition and movement lifecycle (attraction, recruiting, onboarding, mobility, external workforce).
• Ability to navigate strategic design and operational delivery across Expertise Hub and HR domains.
• Strong change leadership, organizational influence and senior stakeholder management.
• People leadership experience building high‑performing product teams.

Required skills

• Experience with AI, automation, data architecture and technology portfolio strategy.
• Product portfolio, financial governance and investment prioritisation skills.
• Expertise in human‑centered design, journey mapping and KPI definition.
