Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Accounting team at our headquarters in Lugano. The role offers full‑time permanent employment and provides on‑the‑job training in a fast‑moving professional environment. You will work both collaboratively within a close‑knit team and independently on daily accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review and reconcile accounting transactions in line with company policies and IFRS standards.
• Prepare and coordinate daily payment instructions, monitor cash movements and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support quarterly closing activities and assist in the preparation of IFRS and local GAAP statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors, providing documentation, analyses and explanations as needed.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests from management, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement, standardisation and automation of accounting processes, internal controls and reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Management.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, audit or a related field.
• High level of accuracy, discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
