About the role
We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join the Iberia Desk of a private bank in Geneva. The role offers exposure to a broad range of legal matters within private banking, focusing on the Iberian markets.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal support to internal teams, especially the Iberia Desk.
- Review, draft and negotiate legal documents, contracts and banking documentation.
- Assist with legal matters related to private banking activities and handle requests from Swiss and international clients.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the bank’s operations.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance and Credit teams.
Required profile
- University degree in Law.
- Initial professional experience in banking, finance or a legal environment, preferably in Switzerland.
- Strong interest in developing a career in private banking.
- Fluency in Spanish, French and English (written and spoken).
Required skills
- Excellent communication and drafting abilities.
- Rigorous, proactive approach and comfort working in an international setting.
