Junior Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Bota Systems, a Swiss high‑tech company, develops and manufactures precision force/torque sensors for robotics and automation. We are looking for a Junior Manufacturing Technician to join our Oerlikon production team and take part in assembling, calibrating and testing high‑precision sensors.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill manufacturing and assembly orders following procedures and quality standards.
• Assemble and test mechanical and electronic components of sensors.
• Operate and maintain production and testing equipment.
• Perform inspections, calibrations and quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workstations in excellent condition.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship as Polymechaniker EFZ, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in both mechanical assembly and electronics production.
• Strong attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent in English.
