Junior Process Engineer – Power Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

As a Junior Process Engineer in the BiMOS Backend team, you will support the automation of power module production. You will work on improving existing manufacturing processes and driving innovative projects for automated module assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Improve process capability of module assembly using statistical tools, designed experiments and gemba principles.
• Analyse production data to optimise performance, identify trends and prevent failures.
• Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to maintain and increase throughput.
• Collaborate with new‑product development teams to shape production processes and enable volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Good understanding of automation; experience with robot handling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a quality‑focused mindset.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude.
• Familiarity with Design of Experiments, data analysis and production statistics is advantageous.
• Fluent English; German language skills are beneficial.
