Key Account Manager – Strategic Sales for Alumina Chemicals

About the role

As a Key Account Manager at Dadco, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with customers in the chemical and ceramic industries worldwide. Working closely with sales managers and the CEO, you will learn the alumina‑based chemicals business and translate customer needs into tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans that identify growth opportunities and negotiate contracts.
• Act as the primary point of contact, building trust and providing strategic advice to clients.
• Coordinate internally with back‑office, refinery technicians and senior management to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare business reviews and resolve issues promptly.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence to support strategic positioning and product feedback.

Required profile

• University degree with 5–7 years of experience in import/export, international customer service or related roles.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German.
• Strong communication, professionalism and the ability to work independently.
• Proactive, creative and comfortable handling complex, multi‑partner deals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
