About the role
Roche Diagnostics International Ltd in Rotkreuz is seeking a Lab Technician on a contract basis to support the System Development department. You will work in a cross‑functional environment, maintaining and further developing complex diagnostic systems.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory activities and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Represent the laboratory working group in the quality team.
- Support R&D and validation projects by performing molecular biology experiments.
- Order, track, and accept test samples and consumables according to SOPs.
- Communicate results to project managers in a timely manner.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment with biosafety level 1‑2 labs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive work style.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
Required skills
- Molecular biology experimental techniques.
- Statistical data analysis.
- Use of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory work.
