Lead DXP Engineer

About the role

As a Lead DXP Engineer you will design, develop and implement high‑performance applications with a strong focus on scalability, security and performance. You will work in project teams, collaborate closely with subject‑matter experts and help continuously improve development, testing and build processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conceive, develop and implement Java‑based applications with emphasis on scalability, security and performance.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve development tools, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as a Java backend developer in a web environment.
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum and code‑review processes.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.
