Legal Counsel – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join a leading financial services client in Zurich. The role involves providing commercial and regulatory legal support across a range of banking and fintech activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant and commercially sound agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial and financial services agreements.
• Support contractual matters, including distribution agreements and related documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to internal stakeholders across various business functions.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Support ongoing legal projects and improve the efficiency of contractual processes.

Required profile

• Swiss BLaw or MLaw degree (Bar admission is a plus).
• Approximately 2–3 years of professional legal experience.
• Experience in banking, financial services, asset management, fintech, or a related regulated environment.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Resident of Switzerland or eligible to work in Switzerland.
