About the role
We are seeking a German‑qualified Legal Counsel to join our international energy company. The role combines deep expertise in German law with the ability to provide pragmatic, business‑oriented advice in a fast‑moving, highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Navigate complex legal structures within the highly regulated energy sector.
- Manage external litigation matters efficiently and with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Provide pragmatic, business‑minded legal advice across diverse topics.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced commercial setting.
Required profile
- Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in).
- Professional fluency in both German and English.
- Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience in an in‑house legal environment.
- Pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset with genuine interest in the energy sector.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
