Legal Counsel – MedTech Commercial Contracts

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a leading MedTech client on a 6‑12 month interim assignment. Based in Lausanne with the possibility to work remotely, you will provide commercial and regulatory legal support as the company expands its product portfolio across Europe and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial contracts, including distribution, strategic collaboration and service agreements.
• Support the launch of new medical devices and the scaling of business operations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise commercial and business‑development teams on operational legal matters and risk mitigation.
• Review advertising, branding and promotional materials for compliance with applicable regulations.
• Guide contractual relationships with distribution partners, healthcare providers and medical institutions.
• Collaborate with regulatory, compliance and cross‑functional teams to anticipate legal issues and enable sound commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a valid bar admission.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, negotiation and legal support for MedTech, pharmaceutical or life‑science environments (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex, cross‑border projects.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
