Legal Workflow Engineer

About the role

DeepJudge is seeking a thoughtful Legal Workflow Engineer to bridge legal expertise with AI technology. Based in Zurich, you will work closely with clients, product, and engineering teams to design AI‑driven legal workflows that are both practical and legally sound.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on legal workflows, translating practice‑area processes into technical requirements.
• Research and identify high‑impact AI workflow opportunities by engaging directly with law firms and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to design, test, and refine AI solutions, including prompt engineering for legal tasks.
• Work with sales to showcase product capabilities to global law firms and tailor demonstrations to specific client needs.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and feedback loops to ensure AI solutions address real‑world legal challenges.

Required profile

• Law degree from a top‑tier university (MBA preferred).
• Experience practicing law at a large international firm, preferably with exposure to US firms.
• Deep understanding of legal workflows across corporate and litigation practice areas.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to convey legal concepts to non‑legal audiences.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
