Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1 / B1-B2 Line Maintenance (A320, B737, B757, B767)

About the role

SR Technics, an MRO provider headquartered at Zurich Airport and serving more than 500 customers worldwide, is looking for an experienced Line Maintenance Engineer B1 or B1/B2 for its Basel station. You will perform line maintenance on A320, B737, B757 and B767 aircraft and help keep them airworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure the safety and quality policy is communicated and implemented
• Perform line maintenance work packages, certificates of release to service, daily and weekly checks, engine and APU replacement, defect rectification, component replacement, AOG recovery and troubleshooting
• Perform A-check, P-check and out-of-phase checks work packages
• Carry out structural damage assessments and repairs
• Ensure the aircraft operates in airworthy condition
• Work autonomously within a team spirit environment, assisting the shift leader or supervisor, and ensure clear communication and reporting

Required profile

• Valid B1 or B1/B2 EASA Part-66 licence
• Type rating on A320, B737, B777, B767 and B757
• Good command of verbal and written English
• Working knowledge of health, safety and quality procedures
• Proven ability to work under pressure, with a positive, solutions-oriented and customer-focused attitude
• EU passport, Swiss passport or Swiss working permit (Swiss immigration regulations)

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Part 66 licence with the listed theory and practical modules (AML, Human Factor, Fuel Tank Phase II, EWIS theory and practical)
• Current airworthiness evidence per aircraft type, certified by Quality
