Manager, Events & Engagement

About the role

As the Manager, Events & Engagement you will lead the design, delivery and evolution of PMI’s Technovation platform, turning a series of stand‑alone events into a cohesive global stakeholder engagement hub. You will work within the Corporate Affairs team to support the company’s smoke‑free future vision by connecting innovators, policymakers, media and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design, execution and continuous improvement of Technovation events worldwide.
• Transform Technovation into an integrated platform with global convening moments, digital touchpoints and thought‑leadership outputs.
• Define the architecture for next‑generation engagement cycles, collaboration formats and post‑event momentum.
• Ensure strategic alignment, quality and relevance across all events while enabling local market activation.
• Drive media attendance at third‑party events and secure impactful coverage.
• Safeguard the platform as a strategic Corporate Affairs asset, enhancing PMI’s credibility and convening power.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale events or stakeholder engagement programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on leadership ability.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries and collaborating with cross‑functional global teams.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex topics to diverse audiences.
