Manager FP&A Cocoa Sourcing

About the role

The Manager FP&A Cocoa Sourcing is a core member of the Global Cocoa Finance team, responsible for financial analysis, performance reporting, forecasting and valuation activities that support Barry Callebaut’s sourcing operations. The role collaborates closely with trading, logistics, risk, accounting and finance partners, offering exposure to commodity markets, derivatives, supply‑chain finance and international trade.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial closing and reporting for BC Sourcing.
• Perform daily commodity valuation and produce weekly mark‑to‑market reports.
• Support financial analysis of trading performance and commodity market developments.
• Provide reliable insights for forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
• Analyze supply‑chain costs and operational performance drivers.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business partners.
• Contribute to Global Trading & Sourcing (GT&S) financial planning and performance management.
• Continuously improve valuation methodologies, reporting quality and analytical tools.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, audit, transaction advisory, corporate finance or similar analytical finance functions.
• In‑depth understanding of derivatives finance and financial markets, with a strong interest in commodity markets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
