Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician supports daily operations in USP, DSP and IPC areas, ensuring GMP‑compliant production. The role combines equipment calibration, material handling, sample logistics and strict documentation to keep manufacturing lines safe, efficient and robust.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily calibration of IPC and DSP equipment, including WFI preparation.
• Conduct single‑use assembly checks, column buffer exchanges and harvest filter de‑installation.
• Operate autoclaves: loading, cycle execution and unloading of sterilized materials.
• Complete material checklists, notify engineers of shortages, and aliquot ethanol under GMP safety rules.
• Maintain cleanroom hygiene, execute buffer drainage, and support 6S workplace organization.
• Document all activities in GMP records and participate in investigations, CAPAs and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or chemical manufacturing (USP or DSP preferred).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience working in Grade C/D cleanrooms and with GMP documentation.
