Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Witty Machines is developing intelligent machines for the food industry. As a Mechanical Engineer you will design and build mechanical and pneumatic systems that run reliably on real production lines, taking concepts from prototype to robust, unattended operation in customer factories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new mechanical and pneumatic parts and modules.
• Adapt and improve existing modules to increase performance and reliability.
• Take products from concept through to production.
• Deploy new machines and update existing ones on‑site at customer locations.
• Interact with customers to understand system performance and requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the broader engineering team to ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• Degree or several years of experience in mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
• Proficiency with at least one CAD software.
• Experience with robots or industrial automation is a plus.
• Team‑player mentality, pragmatic problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• German or French language skills are a plus.
