Media Relations & Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Media Relations & Content Specialist to support the Head of Media in executing the bank’s media strategy across Europe and the Middle East, with a focus on French‑speaking Switzerland and key satellite markets. The role combines media liaison, content creation, and performance monitoring to enhance the bank’s visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with media agencies across EMEA, align priorities, timelines and deliverables.
• Source spokespeople, manage approval processes, and ensure timely, on‑brand responses to journalists.
• Draft, edit and translate press releases, statements, Q&As and opinion pieces, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
• Prepare and update media materials such as talking points, short bios and background notes.
• Build and maintain relationships with financial and business journalists.
• Monitor media coverage, track visibility and sentiment using monitoring and analytics tools, and produce regular KPI reports.
• Collaborate with Digital and Internal Communications teams to amplify coverage and share key exposure internally.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of media relations experience in financial services or an agency serving financial clients.
• Proven track record working with international financial and business media.
• Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and regulatory environment.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, able to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective multitasking, relationship‑building and collaborative mindset.
