MPS & MRP Planner

About the role

As an MPS & MRP Planner at Nespresso, you will create and maintain production plans that ensure finished‑goods availability, freshness, and alignment with market demand. You will work closely with factories, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to translate dispatch requirements into feasible schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a 18‑month production plan based on dispatch plans and stock‑cover policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, providing regular updates and follow‑ups.
• Identify and mitigate potential issues in the 18‑month horizon, including phase‑in and phase‑out processes.
• Lead monthly production review meetings with factories to assess performance and constraints.
• Update the weekly production plan, balancing constraints and market dispatch to meet stock‑cover targets.
• Manage exceptions, propose solutions, and coordinate with supply planners.
• Support product launches and phase‑outs through retro‑planning and stock‑depletion tracking.
• Align capacity and forecast requirements with suppliers, handling packaging changes or crises.
• Drive cost efficiency by improving planning processes and optimizing inventory levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in factory planning, supply planning, purchasing, or supply‑chain development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
