National Consultant / Project Coordinator (Jordan)

About the role

The National Consultant / Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of a multi‑month SME development project in Jordan. Reporting to the International Trade Centre (ITC) hiring manager, the consultant will ensure all monthly and quarterly deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the call for SME applications, manage the selection process, and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Organise and deliver orientation workshops for selected companies, clearly communicating project objectives.
• Engage with partners to advance trade policy initiatives, collect data, and support coaching sessions for the Training of Trainers (ToT) program.
• Document awareness sessions, implement activities to improve SME competitiveness and market linkages.
• Prepare and submit monthly presentations, quarterly progress reports, and an annual progress report using the ITC template.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or consultancy, preferably in SME development or trade‑related projects.
• Strong ability to engage and coordinate with multiple institutions and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver workshops, coaching sessions, and produce high‑quality reports.
