Part‑Time Accountant (10‑30% workload)

About the role

Aritec New Materials AG seeks an experienced accountant to work part‑time (10‑30% of a full‑time schedule) supporting the finance function at headquarters and selected subsidiaries. The role offers flexibility with home‑office options and requires occasional on‑site presence once or twice a month.

Key responsibilities

• Review accounts receivable and payable with subsidiary accountants on a weekly basis.
• Prepare and follow up on Swiss VAT declarations quarterly.
• Support headquarters expense accounting and related reviews.
• Assist with periodic P&L review and financial analysis.
• Support selected German VAT declarations.
• Contribute to year‑end book closing activities and Swiss tax declaration processes.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Swiss accounting principles and finance processes.
• Experience with Swiss VAT compliance and declarations.
• Ability to work independently, structured and reliable.
• Good communication skills in an international business environment.
