Pension Accountant – 13‑Month Contract in Zurich

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Accountant to join a finance team in Zurich on a 13‑month contract. The role combines hands‑on accounting with responsibility for multiple pension fund entities and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial statements for several company pension funds.
• Perform accounting and reporting in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER 26.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of all accounting entries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on financial and reporting matters.
• Maintain documentation and compliance for pension fund operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER 26.
• Solid accounting background with ability to work independently.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
