Personalised Medicine Intern – Liquid Biopsy Research

About the role

Join Debiopharm’s Personalised Medicine team to work at the forefront of oncology innovation. You will focus on liquid‑biopsy based biomarker investigation, supporting the design of patient‑centric clinical trials and advancing targeted cancer therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analyses on liquid‑biopsy sequencing results and propose follow‑up investigations.
• Drive integration of liquid‑biopsy approaches across the company’s project portfolio.
• Provide input into clinical trial protocols and support biomarker strategy definition.
• Advocate for adoption of liquid‑biopsy technologies within project teams and management.
• Support implementation of biomarker strategies where liquid‑biopsy data are critical.

Required profile

• PhD in life sciences, molecular biology, genetics or a related discipline.
• Experience analysing large datasets.
• Comfortable using basic bioinformatic tools.
• Previous exposure to molecular diagnostic assays is an asset.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent written and oral English communication.
