Private Client and Tax Associate (2-4 PQE)

About the role

Withers is seeking a Private Client and Tax Associate with 2‑4 years of post‑qualification experience to join its global Private Client and Tax Division. The role involves delivering high‑quality advice to high‑net‑worth individuals and families across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domestic and international tax, estate planning, succession and mental capacity advice.
• Design, implement and modernise trusts and fiduciary structures.
• Assist clients with compliance matters related to investments, accounting, taxes and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with immigration, real‑estate and litigation teams to support cross‑border matters.
• Contribute to the firm’s philanthropic advisory services.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2‑4 years of experience in private client or tax law.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in serving high‑net‑worth individuals and families.

Required skills

• Knowledge of domestic and international tax legislation.
• Experience with trust and fiduciary structures.
• Understanding of estate planning and succession law.
