Product Designer – Boots

About the role

We are looking for a creative Product Designer to lead the design and development of our snowboarding boots range. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, you will shape the seasonal direction of the boots category, from trend research to final product approval, working closely with the Boots Developer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead trend, colour and material research to define the seasonal creative direction for the boots line, aligning with brand strategy and the broader bindings and boards aesthetic.
• Translate the line plan into design concepts, including sketches, mood boards, colourways and material stories for each silhouette.
• Own line‑plan management using sales data, previous season results and long‑term category vision.
• Define and brief colour, materials, graphics and trims for Tech Pack creation, collaborating with the Developer to ensure specifications match design intent.
• Review samples at each milestone (black sample, pre‑line, photo sample, SMS, production) to validate design integrity.
• Partner with the Developer on design‑versus‑feasibility trade‑offs such as cost, sourcing and manufacturing constraints.
• Maintain relationships with component partners (e.g., BOA, Vibram) for new developments and innovation.
• Manage special make‑up (SMU) and collaboration projects from concept to delivery, including studio shooting for product assets.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in snowboarding or outdoor sports.
• Proven experience in product design for footwear or related categories.
• Ability to translate market insights and sales data into a coherent product range.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with developers, suppliers and partners.
