Product Designer – Early Career

About the role

This early‑career position is based in Switzerland and focuses on designing intuitive, high‑quality experiences for complex, developer‑focused workflows. You will work in a remote‑first environment, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and senior designers to improve and refine a mature technical product used by software teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own well‑defined design initiatives, including improvements, iterations, edge‑case handling, usability enhancements, and interface consistency.
• Translate product requirements and user needs into production‑ready designs with strong interaction, information architecture, and visual design.
• Collaborate with senior designers through design reviews, feedback sessions, and mentorship.
• Support user research by contributing to interviews, usability testing, and synthesising insights into actionable improvements.
• Apply and extend existing design system patterns to create consistent, scalable experiences.
• Partner with product managers and engineers throughout implementation, communicating design decisions and resolving edge cases.
• Create design assets for product launches, onboarding, release communications, and feature announcements.
• Develop technical understanding of developer workflows and infrastructure concepts.
• Incorporate AI‑powered tools into daily design workflows for ideation and automation.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional product design experience, preferably in B2B, technical, SaaS, or developer‑focused products.
• Strong foundations in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and user‑centered design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage iterative design work reliably across multiple product areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma.
