Product Trainer

About the role

ABB is seeking a Product Trainer to design, develop and deliver technical training for front‑end sales personnel and channel partners worldwide. The role supports the Critical Power business line within the Electrification Smart Power division and operates in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver training courses in classroom, online or on‑site formats, covering product knowledge, sales techniques and value communication.
• Develop lesson plans, course materials and e‑learning updates for UPS, STS, PDU, power‑conditioning and battery systems.
• Collect pre‑ and post‑training feedback, analyse results and implement continuous‑improvement actions.
• Support the Center of Expertise Bid & Proposal team and other Power Protection units with technical expertise.
• Assist Training Coordinators with course scheduling, enquiries and proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the critical power field, preferably in training, sales, service or R&D.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UPS, STS, PDU, power‑conditioning systems and battery systems.
• Experience designing and delivering adult technical training.
