Production Engineer (80-100% FTE)

About the role

As a Production Engineer you will drive operational efficiency, uphold top‑class quality standards and lead innovative projects that shape the future of our production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure maximum plant availability through close cooperation with maintenance and suppliers.
• Lead projects to optimise throughput times and reduce quality‑related costs.
• Conduct pilot studies to define optimal process parameters and promote continuous improvement.
• Commission new processes and equipment, including action‑plan definition and training for maintenance and production teams.
• Evaluate innovative process technologies to improve quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Investigate process deviations and implement corrective measures.
• Contribute to the digitalisation and automation of production.
• Lead industrialisation projects from planning to successful implementation.

Required profile

• Completed technical degree (ETH/FH) in production sciences, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or a comparable field.
• Solid professional experience in mechanisation and automation of production processes and systems.
• Knowledge of high‑voltage technology is an advantage.
• Experience in technical documentation and work planning.
• Extensive knowledge of quality methods and tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, moderation techniques).
• Very good German (spoken and written) and English at C1 level.
• Confident communication and leadership skills to motivate teams.
