Program Manager

About the role

ClearSpace is seeking a Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of its current and future space missions. You will own the full program lifecycle from concept through launch, operations and end‑of‑life, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence and budget control.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end execution of space programs, from feasibility studies to mission close‑out.
• Oversee daily project management activities, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Own and manage complex contracts with institutional, government, and commercial customers.
• Collaborate with system architects, technical leads, and engineering teams to ensure mission success.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across flight, ground, and program segments.
• Manage financial planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation throughout the program lifecycle.
• Supervise subcontractors and procurement processes to meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensure satellite compatibility and launcher integration within required timelines and performance parameters.
• Support new business initiatives including proposals, bids, and contract negotiations.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal program execution processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in the spacecraft industry, with at least 3 years in technical or project leadership roles.
• Full lifecycle experience with satellite missions, from business development to delivery and operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional teams across engineering and business disciplines.
• Deep understanding of LEO, MEO, or GEO spacecraft systems and mission design.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple critical paths concurrently.
• Comfortable interacting with institutional and commercial customers (e.g., LSA, ESA).
