Program Manager - St. Jude Global Geneva

About the role

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is expanding its global engagement efforts and is establishing a Geneva office as the operational hub for the St. Jude Global Engagement Strategies (GES) program. The Program Manager plays a central role in turning strategic priorities in advocacy, policy development, engagement and partnership building into coordinated actions. The role connects the GES program, the Geneva office and broader St. Jude Global operations, including the Regional Hubs and the St. Jude Global Alliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of GES initiatives, maintain the GES work portfolio and set up governance routines and decision-making processes
• Monitor performance against objectives and adjust plans as needed
• Act as main liaison between the Geneva office and Regional Hubs, Transversal Programs, St. Jude Global Operations and the St. Jude Global Alliance, and collaborate with internal teams
• Manage communication with internal teams and external partners, and prepare briefings and reports for senior leadership
• Support engagement with global agencies, governments, ministries, vendors and other partners
• Support budget planning, tracking, forecasting and variance analysis, and coordinate with finance teams on compliance and reporting
• Track performance metrics, analyse data and recommend process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in program management and delivery, including designing and managing programs in global public health, development and research
• Experience in program budget tracking, reporting and risk management, and mentoring program managers
• Fluency in English is required; French and other UN languages are assets

• Program and project management, with strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks in health
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and project management tools
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial acumen
