Project Manager Business Jets

About the role

Jet Aviation is seeking a Project Manager for Business Jets Maintenance Operations to act as the central link between customers and internal teams, ensuring maintenance projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead business jet maintenance projects from scope planning through release to service.
• Maintain customer relationships, lead project meetings, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and manage GANTT charts, resources, and monitor technical and financial progress.
• Identify defects or scope changes, raise Additional Work Requests, and resolve issues or escalations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, documentation, and support release‑to‑service processes.
• Monitor quality gates, conduct project reviews, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Track hours and materials, issue status reports, and collaborate with Finance for accurate invoicing.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in aviation project management, aircraft maintenance or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and aviation regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness, including budgeting and cost control.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Familiarity with SAP, CMP or CAMP (preferred).
