Project Manager – Digital & E‑commerce Projects

About the role

DEPT® is seeking a Project Manager to lead exciting technological projects that combine top‑class design and usability for our clients. The role sits in the Zurich‑based Experience & Engineering business unit, delivering digital, e‑commerce and data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement complex online and e‑commerce projects while monitoring milestones.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from offer preparation to budget and timeline control.
• Serve as the central interface between internal teams, external stakeholders and expert implementation groups.
• Advise and support customers with a confident, proactive approach.
• Apply stakeholder, risk, controlling and reporting expertise throughout the project.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams across locations, maintaining regular communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years in a client‑facing agency role or corporate consulting.
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
• Practical experience in technical implementation of digital or e‑commerce projects.
• Experience with classic and agile project‑management methods and tools such as Asana or Jira.
• Ability to create cost overviews, offers and detailed project plans with milestones.
• Independent, structured work style with high quality standards.
• Team player with experience leading interdisciplinary teams (Strategy, UX, UI, Development, QA).
