Project Manager – Enterprise Transformation (German speaking)

About the role

A leading financial services organisation in Zurich is looking for an experienced German‑speaking Project Manager to lead a major enterprise transformation programme. The role is hybrid (2–3 days onsite) and starts ASAP on a six‑month contract with the possibility of extension up to two years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the Project Management Plan, define scope, WBS and detailed delivery schedule.
• Design the Transformation Factory delivery approach and coordinate target architecture planning.
• Establish governance, reporting structures, staffing plans and high‑level testing strategy.
• Lead all workstreams, manage complex stakeholder relationships and monitor performance using Earned Value Management.
• Produce executive‑level reports, manage budgets, coordinate testing and ensure operational readiness.
• Oversee deployments, Go‑Live activities and post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English.
• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale enterprise transformation programmes, preferably in financial services or other regulated sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and third‑party vendors.
• Strong governance, planning, budgeting and risk‑management capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Earned Value Management.

• Daily rate of CHF 950
