Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to champion quality excellence within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work closely with Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and foster a strong quality culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Promote GMP best practices and ensure production floor compliance.
• Deliver GMP training and coach employees on quality mindset.
• Act as the QA representative for validation of maintenance work initiation and closure.
• Manage quality complaints, deviations, and non‑conformities.
• Facilitate audits, lead quality improvement projects, and conduct risk assessments.
• Perform root‑cause investigations and support corrective actions.
• Monitor CAPA plans, verify effectiveness, and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate internal audits, change management programs, and train new stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and GMP‑regulated environments.
• Experience conducting internal audits, preferably as Lead Auditor.
• Fluent in French and excellent written and verbal English.
• Proactive, results‑oriented, and resilient under pressure.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, Halal, Kosher).
• Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized management systems.
