Regional Demand Planning Manager

About the role

ABB is looking for a Regional Demand Planning Manager to build and lead the demand planning function for the ELIP Business Line across EMEA. You will own the end‑to‑end demand planning process, translate customer demand into reliable supply plans and ensure the organization stays ahead of market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the regional demand planning framework, tools and standards for all product lines and sites.
• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning commercial forecasts with production capacity and inventory targets.
• Run short‑term planning and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) to synchronize daily execution across manufacturing units.
• Coordinate closely with site planners, providing direction, ensuring data quality and consistency with the regional supply plan.
• Drive inventory optimisation across the EMEA network to balance service levels and cost.
• Support and develop the planning community throughout the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, S&OP or supply chain management within an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate demand signals into actionable supply plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with site planners, operations managers, sales, marketing and logistics.
• Ability to lead a newly created function and influence cross‑functional teams.
