Relationship Manager – HNWI

About the role

UBS is seeking a Relationship Manager focused on high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWI) to join its UHNW Italy International team in Lugano. You will work closely with Client Advisors to grow and protect client wealth, providing strategic advice and building long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trustworthy client partnerships with a focus on strategic advice.
• Manage and grow a book of high‑net‑worth clients, identifying new business opportunities.
• Define advisory processes and agreements in collaboration with Client Advisors.
• Support Client Advisors in prospecting and cross‑selling within the client portfolio.
• Ensure client management aligns with the team’s risk culture.
• Establish long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships and continuously expand your professional network.

Required profile

• Professional experience in wealth management or wealth planning.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
• Proven track record of delivering solutions and closing deals for clients.
• Excellent networking abilities and a reputation that attracts new contacts.
• Resilient, service‑oriented team player with outstanding organizational and time‑management skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Italian.
