Rust Engineer – Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs)

About the role

Spire Labs is building Based Stack, a rollup framework that enables apps to launch their own Ethereum L2/L3s while preserving composability. As a Rust Engineer focusing on Trusted Execution Environments, you will help design and implement a rollup/app‑chain stack that leverages TEEs such as SGX and Nitro Enclaves to deliver cross‑chain synchronous composability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a production‑grade rollup/app‑chain stack in Rust using TEEs.
• Integrate zero‑knowledge proof systems and validity proofs for enhanced security.
• Ensure cross‑chain synchronous composability across L2/L3 solutions.
• Collaborate with a remote, venture‑backed team to deliver high‑quality code.
• Maintain and improve existing Rust codebases and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production systems in Rust.
• Deep understanding of Trusted Execution Environments (e.g., SGX, SEV‑SNP, Nitro Enclaves).
• Familiarity with validity proofs and zero‑knowledge proof systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, fast‑moving startup environment.
