Sales & Business Development Manager

About the role

EM Microelectronic, a semiconductor manufacturer within the Swatch Group, is seeking a senior Sales & Business Development Manager to lead field sales and marketing for its ultra‑low power IC portfolio. The position is based at the headquarters in Neuchâtel and requires onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive field sales and marketing activities across all product lines, targeting both direct customers and distribution channels.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for the territory, aligning with company growth and revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify and manage new customers, market segments, and sales partners including reps and distributors.
• Engage ecosystem partners to deliver complete solutions based on EM chips.
• Support customers from design phase through mass production and maintain key relationships at engineering, purchasing, logistics and management levels.
• Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate development contracts with internal (R&D, legal, quality, logistics) and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience selling technology in the electronics/semiconductor space, with a strong technical background (BSEE or equivalent).
• Proven track record in selling connectivity and RFID solutions (BLE, Wireless, NFC, IoT, Sensors) directly to customers and through distributors.
• Established network in the territory, especially Germany, and ability to engage C‑level and engineering contacts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder identification and relationship‑building skills.
