About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead our commercial activities at BORFLEX REX in Mendrisio, Switzerland. Reporting to the local management and functionally to the Group Sales Department, you will shape and execute the sales strategy for high‑value elastomer solutions serving rail, defence and energy markets.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse market trends and client needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Define and implement a sales strategy that meets turnover and margin targets.
- Act as the company’s ambassador with strategic clients and at major industry events.
- Lead large commercial projects, coordinating with technical and production teams.
- Monitor performance of sales teams and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development within a B2B industrial environment.
- Ability to operate effectively in international contexts.
- Track record of combining strategic vision with hands‑on management.
- Fluent in Italian and English; good German is recommended; French is a strong advantage.
Required skills
- Complex technical sales of industrial solutions.
