Security Officer – Data Center (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Protectas Group Switzerland as a Security Officer responsible for safeguarding a high‑tech data centre. You will ensure the safety of personnel, assets and sensitive information while maintaining a calm and professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and monitor access points.
• Supervise and protect sensitive data and equipment.
• Initiate emergency procedures and evacuations when required.
• Lead a small team of 2‑6 security agents.
• Prepare, review and file incident reports.
• Adjust shift schedules to cover personnel shortages.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the security field.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including night and weekend shifts.
• Fluent German (minimum B1) and strong English (minimum B2) communication skills.
• Valid residence permit and clean criminal record.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills.
