Senior Account Manager

About the role

As a Senior Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will drive revenue growth by developing and managing strategic customer relationships across a broad portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging scientific expertise and a consultative sales approach to support customers’ research, development, and manufacturing initiatives. Collaboration with technical specialists, product managers, and support teams will enable you to deliver comprehensive solutions that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic B2B customer relationships to increase revenue.
• Serve as a trusted scientific advisor, guiding customers through complex research and manufacturing challenges.
• Collaborate with technical specialists, product managers, and support teams to design and deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of B2B sales experience in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical or related scientific industries.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing strategic accounts.
• Strong consultative selling, relationship‑building and negotiation skills at all organizational levels.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30‑40% of the time; fluency in English.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
