Senior Accountant – Full‑time (Finance Department)

About the role

We are expanding our new manufacturing site in Switzerland and need a motivated Senior Accountant to join the Finance department in Brügg. This full‑time position will support day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting for the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries.
• Process employee cash and corporate credit‑card expenses and perform reconciliations.
• Manage pre‑payments, weekly payment runs and monthly/quarterly/year‑end GL closings.
• Prepare and reconcile AP invoices in the internal ERP system.
• Support audits, treasury backup, and vendor management.
• Generate AP‑related financial reports and handle internal/external email correspondence.

Required profile

• Commercial Finance Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
• 2‑3 years of AP experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills in English; German or French is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure during high‑volume periods.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems for accounting.
