Senior Associate – Proposal Manager for Assurance (German & English)

About the role

PwC Switzerland is hiring a Senior Associate as Proposal Manager for Assurance within Internal Firm Services (IFS), which supports the Audit business by creating high-quality proposals and client materials. The role combines communication, sales, audit and design to craft compelling client stories, working with Assurance teams, Partners and global functions. It is based in Zurich (Bern/Zurich area) with a hybrid model of at least two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal and pursuit processes for Audit and Assurance engagements, from planning to final delivery
• Create client-focused content in German and English, including written proposals, presentation decks, video or demo scripts and other pursuit materials
• Collaborate with audit teams, subject matter experts, sales coaches, transformation specialists and designers to turn complex offerings into clear value propositions
• Use AI tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency and the client experience
• Research clients, industries and market trends to tailor proposals
• Review and refine proposal materials for accuracy, impact and alignment with PwC policies and brand guidelines
• Share best practices and introduce new ideas to improve pursuit processes

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in proposal management, bid management or proposal writing, ideally in the services industry; business development, account management, project management or marketing experience is also valued
• Full professional proficiency in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage
• Project management skills, attention to detail, client-centred approach and collaborative, open-minded working style

• Interest in digital tools and AI-enabled ways of working, including Copilot and ChatGPT equivalents

The position is fully internal to IFS, and up to 40% travel is available.
