Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology and cloud services organisation in Bern. You will design, implement and maintain secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure, driving best‑in‑class DevOps practices across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated build, test and deployment.
• Ensure high availability, security, performance and scalability of Azure environments.
• Support both cloud‑native and hybrid solutions, administering Linux and Windows systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting, and participate in incident management and root‑cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps or Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
• Solid Linux and/or Windows Server administration skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate in agile teams.
